DeChaun Teel aka “GF $killz” also known as “D-Skillz” , “Skillz” & his last name “Teel”. Born in Fort Ore, California where his parents served in the Army they tend to travel alot to where “$killz” ends up resigning from a small town called Martinsville, a Virginia state. With his unique sound and touch it’s sorta difficult to compare “GF $killz” with other mainstream artist today. With music influences like Wu-Tang Clan , DMX , LOX , NAS , Jay-Z also Biggie Smalls he took a liking of when he spent sometime staying with his grandmother in South Jamaica, Queens. YES!! 50 Cent’s home town. That being said “GF $killz” was only 12-13 years old when 50 cent dropped his debute album “Get Rich Or Die Tryin”, where at that time he was living in Miami, FL. Spending five years of his teenage life in the 3-0-5 , he developed a liking to southern rappers in the midst of year 2003. Influences like T.I, Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Hot Boyz, No Limit Souljaz, Gucci Mane and MANY MANY MORE. Being raised in the south “GF $killz” took a extra liking to that style of music and mixed it with that north rap type style and made his own.
