Burgeoning Indie-Americana artist Henry Birkett tells personal stories of heartbreak and dream chasing, with each having humble foundations in rural England. Now, Birkett wields his self-built telecaster as if it were an extension of himself. Since leaving Cambridgeshire to carve his own path, Birkett has been honing his craft on stages across the country’s capital in the battle-dress of a troubadour: colourful, patterned shirts and weathered denim flares.
In his latest EP ‘illicit love’ he takes the neo-vintage sound to a new level. Recorded in rural Austria, his music reflects classic legends Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits and the Eagles in a glorious mix of passion and attitude.
