James Gallichan

Born in Doncaster, UK in June 1989, James was first introduced to music at a young age by his family and his first footsteps into the world of music was when he was given a cassette tape with the music of Queen.
Moving from this point forward his life was turned onto the fact he must play guitar. When Christmas arrived around his 5th Birthday his parents had bought him a classical guitar to begin his lessons, this didn’t last long before he moved to electric guitar progressing through grades and examinations fulfilling his dreams towards being in a rock band. After he graduated high school with a good number of qualifications he attended the Leeds Conservatoire for Music where he studied Music Technology graduating after two years with a reasonable understanding of the Music Tech world.
This then progressed into the touring world of concerts and James travelled venue to venue with big names such as Rod Stewart, Christina Aguilera, Meatloaf and Springsteen to name a few, working on production and backline.
After meeting his then wife he settled down and moved to a role in his career that meant he was at home to be with his wife and child. In 2018 he started to tour again this time as a session guitarist for a number of artists throughout the UK again igniting that spark once more to tour and be a professional musician.
In 2021 he started work on solo material in the guitar world doing instrumental rock music. Today he’s with Bentley Records and continues to be inspired by his love of music.
