Matt Barren is an American recording artist that specializes in Rap, Hip-hop, RnB, and Pop. He describes his style as the EMBE what the industry’s been missing he also describes it as reality rap where he digs deep and gives therapy for his listeners. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he was doing music for fun by doing parodies. By the age of 15 he decided to pursuit music as a career in 2009 he released a self produced mixtape called “Playaz Testament” later along with the mixtape “My Lyricz Iz My Weapon”. In 2010, He partnered with Little League Major Distribution to help expand has fan based worldwide and also partner with Cd Baby to distribute his music worldwide. Matt Barren released an independent album “Call’em K.Yungin” which was very successful oversea. The album which is about his life and how he handled and dealt with new situations such as relationships and how to make his way on his own. Now Matt Barren is working on many projects and working with other artist you never know what Matt Barren got up his sleeves.
