Pearl Cutten releases her long anticipated Album ‘Fragments of my Soul’ which consists of 11 songs. An Album which is timeless and leads you into a journey of Soul as a genre and as in life.
The artist has been working on the Album theme ‘Fragments of my Soul’ before signing an artist development deal with Bentley Records. A theme that is based on her take on the different sounds of Soul as a genre and how it has influenced her throughout all the other genres she also loves. Elements from Soul, Pop, Dance, Afro, Blues and Jazz are all a part of the sound on the Album.
Born in Botswana to a native mother and an Indian father, Pearl moved to Denmark when she was 14 years old due to her Danish stepfather. Pearl originally started making music as a teenager to combat loneliness but soon overtook her ambitions as a dancer and actor, as her chosen calling in life. As music started
occupying most of her creative time, she developed different styles from RnB to Soul to Jazz, and Afro House. Although Denmark is her second home she still maintained strong links to her African roots, the people of Botswana taking Pearl to their hearts despite often being thousands of miles away. Pearl has now found her home which is her internal self and music is her tool for that dynamic and quantum expression.
