Prince Solomon Ajao, known by the stage name, SAJSONGS is a diverse artist
who holds the attention of those who gain an audience with him. Born to a
Ghanaian mother, and Nigerian father, SAJSONGS is known for delivering highenergy to heighten the environment of every platform he serves upon.
SAJSONGS is not only a musician, but an actor, writer, director and performer,
whose music presence is celebrated throughout the world. He is best known
for his single “Lady Kish” featuring MEDIKAL and has assisted many talented
artists on their rise to fame by collaborating for performances.
SAJSONGS, is an artiste on a journey to share his perspective of the African
culture with the rest of the world. He puts thought into his message and its
relevance, which is what sets him apart from other creators. Interestingly, he
writes his songs in Twi, Ga, Yoruba, and English to encourage unity amongst
his listeners as his songs are being played. SAJSONGS says he is inspired by
most local and international artistes, depending on his mood,”l am sometimes motivated by a number of artists;Bob Marley, Adekunle Gold, Kojo Atwi, Osibisa, Fela Kuti,Davido, BurnaBoy,2Face among others.” He is commonly compared to Davido in style and performance, with the Fire of Fela Kuti in his passion for gaining exposure,resolution and resolve for the people and African culture.SAJSONGS, born Prince Solomon Ajao on May 17, was raised by his parents in Ghana Accra, but spent the beginning phases of life traveling back and forth to Nigeria due to missionary work. SAJ first fell in love with music in church and began writing songs at the tender age of 12. He continued developing his skills by penning lyrics for school competitions, where he gained followers, praising
him as “THE” lyrical genius amongst his peers. SAJSONGS started his musical journey as an Artiste by striking out with a group performing under the name Genesis. He gained attention and fame making
his presence known in any place an audience was gathered for musical enjoyment. From youth, SAJ had a knack for making himself acquainted with major industry influencers, by sharing his lyrical cognizance upon introduction. Each time, he challenged them to identify another floacist better than he. This boldness led to great exposure, and he found himself as one of the finalists of the “BORN
STAR COMPETITION” on Viasat TV. Greatly impacted by his relationship with God, SAJSONGS evolved to become SolAfrica, where he dedicated his early adulthood, sharing the gospel and developing a strong bond with many of the artistes he still vibes with today. During this time, he received award nominations and produced many songs like , Praise Him, Pray, and Jesus Dey. The anthem for the “Dreamville” outro. Years spent as a street boy, SAJ learned overtime how to think critically and maneuver the struggles of life
without succumbing to the pains. These lessons can be heard as he continues to use his songs to provide comfort and serve as a voice for the concerns of those he met, while enduring the struggle. SAJSONGS is devoted to ensuring the opinion of Africa is portrayed correctly and is not shy to educate foreigners on misconceptions. He continues to gain attention, with his rocky voice, high energy performances and inspirational sound. Over the years, he appeared on reality shows, TV series and movies. One of the series he featured in Ghana was ‘Dreamville’.SAJSONGS also serves as the President of many platforms, namely his own fan club, “The BombersRepublic”. Here he encourages everyone to be a “Bomber” and make a positive impact in the lives they lead. SAJSONGS as a Brand, is devoted to uniting people with their ancestral identity by directing all to “Remember who you are, We are One.” This is accomplished by providing good music from Africa, fun and education. SAJ released The Black Hope EP in the fall of 2020, granting slight insight to SAJ’s mindset and encouragement to the youth. Black Hope features 6 songs,

But to hear a song that lists discipline, faith in God and a positive mindset as being vital to getting a firm grasp on the dreams that spur us on,is a rarity.At the second edition of Global Music Awards Africa 2022/23
which took place on 16th April 2022 at Oriental Hotel In Lagos, Nigeria with the theme
“be positive with music”saw SAJSONGS or SAJ for short emerged as the winner in all the
categories he was nominated.
