Abiye Newton onome kika AKA Santi Freeman is a Nigerian singer/rapper and song writer from warri Delta state. Growing up he listened to a lot of hip hop music from legends like Lil Wayne, jay Z ,50 cent and The game. He started writing songs at a very young age Newton recorded his first ever track in 2015 titled *introduction* which received a lot of positive response from friends and family and that encouraged him to keep going, after recording about 10 to 12 singles he finally decided to drop an EP *Onome the EP* in July 2020 which was a 4 track project.
Track one was titled *onome* which is the rapper’s native name from the URHOBO TRIBE in Nigeria which means *Good things are mine* and the rest songs were also dope! Track 4 *ask Romeo* was targeted to people who really knows the definition of true love and he also asked why do people have to die for love, track 3 *thoughts and henessy* was a track he said he wrote at night when he was trying to understand why thinking and alcohol are a perfect match he also stated that he didn’t make the song to promote alcoholism *I don’t even drink* he said, he made the song for people who could relate to it and for them to have a good time. Track 2 *99-4-22* was a song he just rapped about how he would want to be a famous musician and warns any rapper that wants problems he isn’t with that, and also the song was titled after his birthday date.
