Best known as a DMV native, The Walking Flame has been building their solo career as a talented Hip Hop Artist since 2018. Currently, residing in Annapolis, MD, the flame walking rapper is influenced by the community, culture, and sounds of the hip-hop landscape. Also, known as Joyce TRC (original artist name), this artist aspires to perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum. He hopes to inspire his fans with music that is both uplifting and inspiring.
In March of 2020, under his Joyce TRC name, this artist released his first official album titled, “Long Days, Short Weeks”, and released his second official album titled the same on May 8th.
Under Joyce TRC, his first album focused on both his mental illness and his overall journey to become a mental health influencer.
In his second and third albums, “Long Days, Short Weeks II” and “Long Days, Short Weeks III”, Joyce TRC further attempted to demonstrate his versatility within the rap industry and mental health community.
In September of 2020, under Joyce TRC, the artist was featured on SayCheeseTV and caught the attention of an individual who gave him the nickname “The Walking Flame” — therefore, at the end of 2020, Joyce TRC released his fourth album “The Walking Flame”.
Known for his witty punchlines, and aggressive-delivery style, the nickname “The Walking Flame” stuck; and for his last album (under Joyce TRC) the artist released his second series of “The Walking Flame”.
Fast-forward, to June 13th, 2022, the artist officially changed his name to “The Walking Flame” and released his highly-anticipated album called “365 Degrees” under his new name.
Also, a week after dropping his album “365 Degrees”, the artist was reached out to by Bentley Records LLC, and at this time of writing, the artist has joined the International Independent Record Label.
This musician is on the rise, and nothing can stop him from achieving the success he’s worked so hard for.
