My name is Marquise Dorcinville, who goes by the rap name Diamond Marquise. I was raised in the Bronx, am 30 years old, and was born November 29th, 1992, in New York. I began rapping in middle school and began at home listening to rap music such as Ja Rule and 50 Cent and would pretend to act like I was on stage and hold a remote control in my hand inside my living room. My mom named me Marquise, and I figured out it was a diamond called that, so that’s how I came up with the name, especially since I’ve always stood out and gained popularity in high school for being the best dresser.
