KING RIO’S BIO:
Hello and welcome to King Rio’s world. Have a seat,
kick off your shoes and let’s get to know me a little better. I
was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Back when I was a
kid, my neighborhood was the most beautiful city I had
ever seen. We were surrounded
by water that was so clear
you could see the bottom. I was always into sports and
always was involved in them. I had played baseball,
football, basketball, soccer and I was a part of cross
country, track and boxing. I was a tuff; smart little boy and
I was
always independent. I didn’t ask for
handouts. Not
from my family or friends. I always had made a way even
worked doing little odd jobs like cutting grass, painting and
anything else my elders had asked me to do. I wasn’t a bad
kid but I didn’t back down from anyone or anything, like I
was ta
ught to do.
My older siblings Ashley and William, wasn’t someone
you could get over on. Us three together was a wrecking
ball and for that we couldn’t even attend the same school
together. That still didn’t stop us. We stood our grounds
even when we were
far away from each other. Three
warriors’ out in this world seeking guidance and I know
one day it will come. Just have
to be patient, my children.

y mother got tired of the same old stuff, day in and day
out so she w
as ready to move
. At the age of 14, m
y mom
and I, moved to Columbus, Ohio
so that we were able to
start over and never look back. So, I did as she said and
started over but I couldn’t leave my little cousin behind, so
I brought him down here too. Made a couple of homies and
that’s all I neede
d to learn my way around town.
I started loving music at the age of 17, when my
cousin Q came down to visit. I use to freestyle a lot back
then but then my cousin Q told me to start writing it down.
He said practice like that and watch how much better yo
u
can become. So, I started chasing my dream of being one
the best rappers out here. I practice everything, all day and
sometimes just to try and push myself to different levels
before I even came into the music industry. I have a
passion for what I do and
the music I create. I have a
passion to help people and even though I been given many
reasons not
