Leroy Udoka Ubido professionally known as LankyLee is a Nigerian hiphop/rap artist from Agbor, Delta state.
He got started with DistroKid kid as an independent artist and got a Distribution deal with Bentley Records which enabled him release several songs. He started recording songs in 2017 then took it as a profession in 2018 where he put out a two track EP; The Awakening, that got both positive and negative reviews but were later taken off the web. That’s when he actually took it up as a career.
LankyLee started music as a hobby while studying at the University of Benin, performing at shows held in the university and clubs in/around Benin city.
“I wanted music to be my career immediately I realized I was productive with it”.
His songs have the quality of strong and energetic not eccentric to the typical Afro beat songs. He is a fast rising star with introspective views which come to life in the stories he tells through his music and a vision to create timeless rhythms and redecorate rap music in Nigeria.
