Mananye Mc Andrew Tlale aka Mc SAGE is a South African American Rapper born in S.A, Free State, Welkom in a nearby small township named Kutloanong. He was born on December 27th 1996, the last 4th born child of Emily Nyennye Tlale and Kuape Klaas Tlale.
He started with his music career as a little primary school boy in a nearby primary school named Mohobo Primary School, at age 11 when he was doing grade 5 in Mr Boy Lehloenya’s class, him and his late school class mate named Vuyo Bloem aka “TKZee” then started writing their own music in class every time they had spare time. At age 16 he started doing studio recording with “DJ Cocktail’z” after Cocktail’z saw the spark in his talent when Mc SAGE free styled for him.
At age 19 he started recording with Snica, Tswhaelo and Richard, that’s when Mc SAGE wanted to be part of the music industry, later that year Mc SAGE got himself a deal promise from Major League DJ’s under Family Tree Records but because he was still in college and went to a diesel mechanic learner-ship, he couldn’t sign with Family Tree Records but he was in “the deal was his”, just that he never went back to the label the year they were on budget to sign his deal. 2017 April after being dismissed unfair from the workshops he started pursuing his music career seriously, Gallo Records wanted to sign him and he never took the deal because of the scams he heard about Gallo, he says:”I don’t wanna die unfamed, the late Brenda Fassie and Mr Mahlathini were both cheated by the label, my dad himself was scammed by the label, I wanna die legendary and an icon to all the upcoming youth”.
The young talented “Shelly-Shelly” last born knew that allot of other record labels will sign him as he said:”Music is in my blood, Pop’s was a dope guitarist way long before I was born, here I am doing rap, my kids gon’ do music, their kids will do music, this is a family curse”, 2023 Feb 12 he got signed to Bentley Records (Artist Development Platform Deal) which is the label his under now and his music career still continues promisingly as a member of the “Bentley Gang” in the U.S under Bentley Records
